I’m Melissa Solera, and my goal is to meet you where you are and help you get where you want to be.

Whether that’s enrichment to interest you in a topic you’ve had trouble engaging with, help with a subject that’s tripping you up, or assistance in completing a difficult assignment, I’ll help you figure out and execute a good strategy.

With a wide background in topics ranging from ecology to computer science, and a range of teaching experiences both informal and formal, I can support learners age 8 and up on almost any topic. Most clients ask for science or math topics, but I can also support writing and study/time management skills. I’m particularly good at making connections between subjects, which can help make challenging topics more relevant and appealing.
